Knutson's Bucket

Imagine Henry's "Tin Lizzie" slamming head-on into the youthful, surf drenched culture of mid-sixties Southern California. Grandad's ol' Ford wasn't really the most fashionable method of transport, so kids dreamt up their own rock 'n' roll fueled visions. The result was the "Fad T". Dick Knutson's Model T epitomizes that era perfectly from its skinny motorcycle wheels to its confronting iron cross rear window. T Buckets tend to be derided by the hot rod cognoscenti, however in their earliest incarnation they display a purity which has been diluted over the ensuing decades, until all that is left are gaudy pastel toned mockeries.
