All the thirty-five foreign journalists trapped inside the Rixos Hotel in Tripoli by loyalists of "fallen" Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi, for five days have finally been set free. The armed guards had been preventing journalists from leaving but on Wednesday the crisis came to an end and the journalists were finally allowed to leave.
Reports have it that their conditions had deteriorated sharply on Wednesday morning as a result of inadequate food and water... The plight of the reporters drew a massive response across the world.
