The abducted father of Mikel Obi, Super Eagles mid-fielder, has been rescued unharmed in Kano by men of the Nigerian Police Force. Reliable sources have it that Mr. Obi was found in good condition on Monday afternoon, even as the five-man gang who kidnapped him have all been arrested.

The successful rescue of Mr. Obi marks the end of a 10-day ordeal to which his family was subjected since August 12 when he was abducted on his way from work. 

Thank God for spearing the man's life and thumbs up to our security agencies for a job well done.  We need more of such gallant outings, please.
