Martha Mansfield



Martha Mansfield, by the the age of 18, showed an interest in acting and began her acting career as a dancer for the Ziegfeld Follies. Her first Hollywood movie was Civilian Clothes (1920) directed by Hugh Ford. She is best known for her performance in the film, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, which starred John Barrymore. She also performed with Eugene O'Brien in The Perfect Lover (1919). Her final performances: Potash and Permutter and The Leavenworth Case, both from 1923.
