Collected Short Stories of Guy de Maupassant, redesigned by my student, Sariah Swick. Her charming collection of digital collages were intended to be a playful reference to the collection of short stories. Sariah also designed a small ornament for the foot of each page which hints at the author's distinctive facial hair. Her portrayal of this book is such a delight and it achieves the ultimate goal of any book designer, which is captivating the reader.
