The franchise dropped Chocolate City boss, Audu Maikori, from the Judges panel and replaced him with area father, Charles Oputa (aka Charley Boy). Yinka Davies and Jeffrey Daniel would however remain as judges.

The show which begins airing on December 4th, 2011, kicks off with auditions in four major Nigerian cities - Abuja, Port Hacourt, Enugu and Lagos. This season would have the winner take home prizes valued at $100,000.
