D'Banj's Oliver Twist Track Banned by NBC

When Ruggedman first raised this issue through his twitter account, I didn't take it serious because I've not  heard anything that is so "bad" in the lyrics of D'banj's new track, Oliver Twist, to attract a ban from a body like the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation, NBC. But it is no longer a romour, the story has been confirmed by Don Jazzy himself.

Below is Don Jazzy's reaction to the ban:
"Oh well they have banned it because they have the power to do so. Let’s see how they stop people from hearing it elsewhere. We’re not the first people they’ll ban and we’ll not be the last. When u flog a child at every chance you get, after a while the child would adjust and get used to the beatings... The person that banned this song will hear this song till he is sick of it. He will hear it at almost every party he goes to. He will hum the melody even in his sleep... He is doing his job so let’s allow him exercise his power. It’s allowed. May God bless him and his hustle. No long thing."

But this NBC sef, that was how they shutdown AIT when the station helped Nigerians to locate the site of one the past plane crash, claiming that the coverage was unprofessional.
