Is President Jonathan a Sectional Leader?

Wikileaks is at it again. According to a cable release by the controversial news organisation recently, former chief of army staff, Gen. Abdulraham Dambazau, had complained to the American Ambassador to Nigeria, Robin Sanders, that then acting President, Goodluck Jonathan, is not a man of his own and that he is sectional in his dealings.

The retired General was said to have complained about the frequent visits of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo to the residence of then Vice President, the Aguda House. He also cited an example of the “transfer of N19 billion of government funds to a Niger Delta environmental project that was done at the end of a meeting that Jonathan had with a group from his region. Dambazau said this was done outside of the normal Cabinet decision-making process.”

The meeting between the two, according to a the release, was said to have taken place on February 24... Anyway, if you ask me, apart from the emergence of a few light weights on the national scene, Jonathan has not been too "sectional" with appointments and other responsibilities.
