Fresh Explosion Rocks Agip Facility in Bayelsa

There were loud explosions from the truck line of the Obama Flow Station of the Agip Oil Company early Monday, which threw the quiet Nember community into commotion.  The explosions and the attendant fire outbreak caused many of the indigenes to boycott a planned activity in the community.

Some even relocated to neighboring communities for fear of more explosions. As the time of this post, the JTF was yet to ascertain if it was an act of sabotage due to earlier text messages sent out by some unknown youths that they would attack the flow line.

In a latest email to Reuters, Agip oil said it had moved in sensitive personnel to effect repairs on the damaged part of the flow station. Indigenes of Tekere community are already complaining that the vandalized pipeline had been leaking crude on their farmlands and creeks.
