Man Stabs His Brother's Wife to Death With Kitchen Knife

It seems our men are becoming more violent these days. I really don't know what's responsible for this nefarious activities - but it's somewhat strange. Two guys or a guy and a lady would have minor quarrels and the next thing you hear is that somebody has shopped off a baby's hand or a man has been arrested for strangling his fiancee. Kai, watta gwan?

Another of such sad incidents have just been brought to my knowledge. This time it's a case of brother-in-law that violently took the life of his sister-in-law. What could have led to this dastardly act? Continue to find out...
According to a report monitored on P.M.News, A 39-year old man, Sadiq Abdul Kazeem, has been arrested by the police in Lagos for allegedly killing his brother’s wife, Efe, popularly known as Iya Blessing. Kazeem was alleged to have used a kitchen knife to stab Iya Blessing on the head several times.

She bled profusely and before she was rescued and rushed to a hospital, she died. The incident happened at No. 8 Adetunji Street, Ijegun, Lagos. It was gathered that Kazeem and the deceased had been at loggerheads before he packed out of his brother’s house.

Only for him to return on the fateful day, according to eyewitnesses, to kill the woman. Kazeem allegedly attacked her as she was coming out from the bathroom.

The body of the deceased was deposited at Isolo General Hospital for autopsy report. When P.M.News visited Ikotun Police Station where Kazeem was detained, the DPO was not around to comment on the matter.

Sources at the station confirmed the incident and said the matter will be transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, for further investigation. P.M.News also visited the deceased woman's residence, where sympathisers gathered, expressing shock about what had happened.

They described the deceased as a peaceful woman who lived at peace with her neighbors. The late Iya Blessing was a popular fashion designer in the area and had three children. Her husband could not be reached for comments as at press time...  May her gentle soul rest in peace. Amen!
