Shocker! PDP Drops Sylva, Ben Bruce from Bayelsa Governorship Contest

At last, the plot to deny the incumbent governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva, a spot on the line up of PDP candidates for the upcoming governorship election in the state have been achieved. The Gubernatorial Screening Appeal Committee of the PDP in Bayelsa State has released the names of three candidates 'approved' as gubernatorial aspirants for the upcoming governorship elections in the state.

Timi Alaibe was also missing in action. The committee however cleared Youpele Kalango, Christopher Enai and Henry Seriake Dickson as eligible candidates. A statement jointly signed by Mrs. Abiodun Olujimi and Alhaji Abba Anas Adamu stated that only the three candidates are eligible to contest the governorship election in the state.

Timipre Sylvia was reportedly dropped for operating foreign accounts while Silverbird TV owner, Ben Bruce, could not make the list because, according to the panel, he had dual citizenship...
