Fight for PDP Ticket! Governors Fail To Save Timipre Sylva

cling the party's ticket for the governorship contest have apparently hit a brick wall, as the four men failed on Friday to obtain the president’s assurances of any kind.

As at the time of posting this report, Governor Sylva has not been cleared by the party which is reluctant to allow him to participate in the primaries, despite all they keep saying in the media. Four aspirants had already been cleared for the primaries.

Though PDP claimed that the screening process was an ongoing exercise, there were indications that it considered Sylva’s case a closed one and did not intend to revisit it. Sylva's fate is not unconnected with his alleged disrespect for the person and office of the President, a source disclosed.
