Hi From Greece!!!

Hi all! I'm sat in a "sidewalk cafe" which can't help but remind me of one of Audrey Hepburn's wishes in Roman Holiday, which happens to have web! Yayayayay :3. After being out of the web zone for a wee while, it is good to be linked in a little again. It's all going well in Greece. Days are filled with swimming, reading and eating; afternoons with milkshakes and evenings with classic movie watching and more food :-)

I have just found some cool posts, the prospect of a new blogathon in the works and the result of my recent grade 5 music theory exam (81% merit if you wondered!!!) which has made me even more happy than I am already (if that's possible). I thought it would be cool to post my classic movie endeavours so far :-)

Movies Actually Watched (in order)

>Holiday (1938) starring Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn, directed by George Cukor. ~ New to me!
This film was so cute! Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn do acrobatics together (enough said). Everything about it is great. Just so sweet. Katharine Hepburn is growing on me and this just reinforced it! Cary Grant was amazing as always. Could he be anything but?

Somewhere, Beyond the Sea...

Hey guys! I wanted to inform readers and all that jazz, that I am going to be staying with a friend's family on a Greek island from tomorrow until next Monday, so I probably won't be able to publish comments, read blogs or post. I am entering the realm of My Family And Other Animals, (not really, but I love this movie :-D) but I may be able to get to an internet cafe with mi padre. I am really looking forward to it, I found an amazing pair of vintage Audrey Hepburn style glasses at a vintage fair and they will definitely be getting lots of wear! I have my iPod full of classic films to get me through the flights, Rebel Without a Cause (1955), Bringing Up Baby (1938), one I've already seen and shall be reviewing for the upcoming "Films of 1939" blogathon in May, Wuthering Heights (1939) amongst others I've had for a while. I leave you with some Roman Holiday (1953) graphics I made. As I said in the last post I did with my graphics in, feel free to use them, but i would be more than grateful for a credit. Sorry about the watermark, I don't have a proper GIF program :-)

More than enough to make me watch any movie

{Just to say, there may be some references to the British school system in this paragraph. I would try and explain it, but it is too dang complicated! But end of term is like end of semester.}
You may have wondered why my posts have been so few and far apart recently. I have several answers.  I have been revelling in the newfound sunshine in my area (which is unfortunately bringing unwelcome small, flying creatures into my house) and over the term I have been doing homework and studying for tests. Life is so busy that I hardly have time to watch movies to blog about! But now the end of term and the test season is passed I should have more time to blog!

Have a great week, expect uncontrollable Easter Parade (1948) spamming when I get back.

Such a busy life...

I lead such a busy life. Not only do i have a blog, i also do a lot of extra curricular activities! I am going on holiday to Greece in around a week so i have a lot to think about, like what books i want to take (not to mention films!), clothes and all that jazz.  School life is always busy at this time of year, especially with leaving your old teachers behind. There is one humanities teacher Mr... lets call him Mr A. he thinks that i have:

• Lost half of my brain cells when i had my hair cut (see Sampson and Delilah),
• Given him yawning sickness,
• A strange urge to do hand gestures with everthing i say (he may be right about that one!)

I think i may have to write a filmscript with him in it one day, there are a few class mates i could put in it as well! I digress. I am also into taking pictures and picture stories as well, but movie reviews come first.

Keep your eyes out for that filmscript on this blog in the near future!
