Very.com New Season - Need your help - Part 2

Hello again Ladies, this is Part 2 of my Ver.com Need your Help post. See part 1 here, so you know what I'm on about.

These are the other items I have shortlisted. Same as the last post just tell me what you would chose if you could. I'm finding it really hard to decide for myself.

SO what do you think? Don't Very.com have a great selection of items this season. It is just so tempting while on my shopping ban. But I am so happy they are gifting me something (once I decide?!?!)

Very.com New season - Need your Help - Part 1

Hello Ladies, I have a bit of a dilemma for you to help me with today (and in my next post!) Very.com have offered to send me something from their new season clothes. Problem is I have to chose it, now I know that doesn't sound like a problem (more like a dream come true) but I can choose anything!! Now do you see my dilemma? The choice is too great and I simple can't decide so I figured I would enlist your help.

I have gotten it down to a short list (not so short really) and all I want to know is which item you think I should chose? Which items would you have? Easy!

I want something that is going to be versatile for the fall/winter and that I will be able to get plenty of use out of

Friend Friday - Fall Trends

It's Friend Friday and this weeks theme is our 5 favourite fall trends. You can see all the other ladies picks over on Modly Chic as usual. But for me as I have a shopping ban on and am unable to buy any new items, and don't have items to fit most the trend I thought I could do a bit of window shopping for this post. What I would buy for this season if I could!


Here are my picks


Snakeskin
I thought I would be unlikely to go all out on the snakeskin and I was more likely to wear snakeskin on my accessories. So this hair bobble is awesome.

You all know I adore POLKA DOTS!!!! And do have plenty of these in my wardrobe, but I would love this blouse and jumper to add to my collection

Jewel Tones
Jewel tones are just so rich and beautiful and will be great going into the Christmas season. I would love these tights to brighten up a simple black dress.

Printed Blouses
These are a sexy and chic addition to a wardrobe, and will add a classy and sophisticated look but the patterns keep them a little playful.

Fur Trim
Take thick warm outerwear add fur and hey presto a great winter trend. Anything that adds a little warmth in the winter here is a plus for me.

Friend Friday: Spring Trends

After having a few heavy-ish Friend Friday posts over the last few weeks, this week we are doing something fun!! All us FBFF girls are going to blog about our top 5 summer trends that we are most looking forward to. I think this is going to be a great week for FBFF, it's kinda time for us to all think about the sunny weather which is on the way and have some fun Wish Listing/Window Shopping

So here is my top 5 wish list trends for this summer:

Floral 50's style dresses (obviously!!)
Its my top trend all year round every year so I am so please to be seeing so many stunning 50's style dresses on the market at the moment.
I am loving this one in particular and it's quite cheap!

I'm loving the Cute pleated skirts that seem to be popping up everywhere at the moment. I'm not sure on the midi length that is becoming popular, but I shall with hold judgement until I actually try one on, but I do love the little floaty mini's and the floor length maxis.
And they are the perfect item you can find in the charity shop, all those old lady skirts are now hot!
This little mini is cute and cream is a perfect colour for the summer.


The skirts have been popular for a while but I truly love the tailored Paper Bag Waist Shorts and this little pair are perfect. I love shorts in the summer when sometimes the wind is a bit strong (which is often in Wales) so they don't blow up like skirts!

The perfect vintage style accessory has to be Cat's eye sunglasses and both these beauties are at the top of my wish list, and they are both so cheap. The floral ones are so fun and colourful and the black ones are glamorous and chic. I WANT!!

And lastly I seriously want a pair of Floral Wide Leg Trousers. This jazzy trend can be done well or awfully its a matter of finding the right pattern and right fit for your shape. I think these would be mine!
These last few weeks have been when my shopping ban has bothered me the most. I am seeing all the lovely things in the shops ready for the summer, and for once I am loving so so many things, and damn this year for being totally my style! But I am still holding strong! My birthday is in a few weeks so fingers crossed I may get some nice pressies.

I'm feeling Berrylicious

I'm seeing a lot of purple berry colours this autumn. And as one of my Bridesmaids is getting married next year and I am now her Bridesmaid, I am on the look out for a nice dress. Luckily she is fancying purple!! And I love purple.
One of the weekend Newspaper Magazines had a cute 50's style dress in it, that I totally swooned for (see image 2) and it led me to John Lewis">John Lewis<. I love the store but don't often look at the clothes as they are too pricy for me. But as this is for a bridesmaids dress I can look a bit pricier. So all the dresses below are from John Lewis">John Lewis> and can be purchased online. 1 and 2 are my favourite!

I am loving the purple tones and shall be on the look out for some more everyday items in the same rich colours.

Key Trends - Winter Jackets

As winter is fast approaching I thought it was about time to start looking at the key trends in warm cozy jackets for this season. The 2 most obvious trends for jackets are the Military Coat and the Aviator Jacket.
I have always been a fan of military style coats so am happy to see them back for another season. In the summer they were mostly short cropped jackets but this winter they are a longer knee length.
Here are my favourite ones from the highstreet, all at a reasonable price:

The Military

I'm not a big fan of the aviator but I do think they are a great alternative to the leather biker jackets, which were fashionable in the summer. The added fur collar means they are great for a little more warmth in the winter. I like them most when they are made of a nice brown leather (faux or real) or brown suede, It gives them a more authentic vintage look.

Obviously the cape is also really big this season, but I think they deserve a post all of their own, which I shall do later in the week.

Off to London for a day trip in just an hour or so. Shall be visiting Beyond Retro for the first time, shall bring you all some nice pictures tomorrow!
