Outfit post - Anthropologie in the Bay

Well I wore the Anthropologie top I won to Cosmo's last week, to celebrate Biz's Birthday. Me and Jon went down early so we could take some pictures down on the bay front with the sun just about to set. It's still not very warm here, although we are seeing the sun a lot more recently, so I paired my new top with my wide leg trousers, my brogues and my full length coat. Luckily it was very quiet and peaceful in The Bay at this time of night so we were able to get lots of great photos. So I apologise for the image heavy post in advance!

Top: Anthropologie
Trousers: Debenhams Collection
Shoes: New Look
Jacket: Debenhams Collection
Necklace: Pieces via swap with Krystal
Ring: Silver & Co

Again I apologise for so many photos but I am useless at editing down when I like lots (there were lots more!)
So what would you pair this floral top with? I think this combo was just an easy choice and nothing to out there or adventurous. I shall have to think of some other combo's for the summer as I love this top and think it will become a summer staple.

What's you key item for this summer? Is there any particular trend you are loving or looking forward too?

30 for 30 - Day 12

I am returning from Sheffield today so will be on a very long and boring bus journey for most of the day. Then this weekend is set to be another busy one! Blah!
But I promise to be back next week with more outfits and possibly some slightly more interesting posts, if I finally get some proper time to myself.

But for now here is Day 12 of my 30 for 30
Outfit made up of: 7+14+24+26
7. Jacqman
14. Primark
24. Debenhams Collection
26. TKMaxx
+
selection of vintage and gifted brooches
Random tights

I know this scattered brooch look was big at some point last year but I never attempted it then, so I thought I might now. Here is what I have on
Big Flower - Vintage from my Nanna
Little Gold Flower - Vintage via Etsy
Pink Flower - Surprise Ball Swap
Cinderella Carriage - Christmas gift from my parents via Etsy
Chain brooch - River Island, off a jacket that was left in the pub

Have a good day ladies

30 for 30 - Day 3 & Going Red for Women

Here is my Day 3 of the 30 for 30 challenge, plus today is the Going Red for Women day (the whole month is heart disease awareness month but a few of us have decided to 'Go Red' today, find us all here).
So the point was to wear red to help raise awareness of Heart Disease. Here is my red accented outfit! I will hopefully be doing this every friday of February, but I only have this waistcoat with Red on in my 30 for 30 so will have to style it 3 different ways!
Outfit made up of: 10+13+20+24+26
10. M&S Limited Collection
13. Nygard Collection
20. H&M
24. Debenhams Collection
26. TKMaxx
+
Vintage red bead necklace
Red bangles via ebay
Internacionale Red Bow Ring
Claire's Red Hairband

I wore this little ensemble to the theatre tonight. I went to see the Circus of Horrors with my sister. It was good, weird and slightly sickening but actually not as good as I thought it would be. A little disappointing actually, but I did enjoy it.
Has anyone else seen any of The Circus of Horror shows? What were your thoughts? Or is anyone thinking of seeing them?

Plus is anyone else doing the Going Red for Women challenge?

30 for 30 - Day 2

Here is Day 2 of my 30 for 30. You may have noticed this should have gone up yesterday but as I am fairly busy at the mo and have a number of other things going on with the blog I won't be posting a 30 for 30 outfit everyday. But here is Day 2 anyway.
Outfit made up of 8+14+24+27
8. Dorothy Perkins (Jeans)
14. Primark (Jumper)
24. Debenhams Collection (Coat)
27. George at ASDA (Pumps)
+
African Necklace from Ebay
Primark Wooden Bangles
D&G Glasses
You don't usually get to see me with my glasses on, but I thought it was about time you saw what I really looked like day to day.
This necklace is from Ebay and was originally bought for a Fancy Dress even where we all dressed up as an African Tribe (we won the competition!)
The bangles were bought for the same event. Do you like my green nails? They are really sparkly too as I added a coat of gold glitter to them as well. You may just be able to see that my thumb nail on my right hand isn't actually green. That's because I had a Minx nail art sample added at a fashion show event this week. Its black with silver daisies and I love it!! Will be having a set done as soon as I find the time and the money.

Here are some links to my favourite 30 for 30 outfits from day 1 and 2 from some of the other participants:

Here is the complete list of participant, there are millions of us this time!

Yesterday I received a swap parcel from Erin of Babes in Thriftland. Due to my shopping ban I cannot buy anything new but I can exchange parcels! Yay. So here is my first swap parcel of the year, there will hopefully be more, lol.
Blue Jersey Top - Miken
Peach, Black and Blue Top - Solemia
Green tweed Skirt - Anne Taylor for Loft
Vintage Scarf
Purple Tight
Cute Notepad
Peanut M&M's
And a Reese's piece (that didn't make it back from the post office ;-)

I love everything, so Thanks Erin!! You shall see a few pieces styled on here very soon (after the 30 for 30 challenge)

Sorry I have had no post for the last 2 days but I've been sick. I came down with some flu-y symptoms on Tuesday night and I have felt yucky ever since. So here is a nice outfit post for you all.

Long Sleeve top: Nygard Collection (christmas gift from my aunt)
Top: Zara Basics
Jeans: Dorothy Perkins
Shoes: Primark
Bag: China
Bangles: Primark
Hairclip: Vintage
I am sadly in work all of today so will try catch up on all your comments and posts tonight or tomorrow.
Hope you are all having a great weekend!
