MOST COMPLEX CG HUMAN


The character of Aki Ross in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (USA, 2001) is composed of over 100,000 subdivided polygons; she has 60,000 hairs, each individually modelled and animated, taking up a quarter of the computer processing power, and 16 motion capture cameras were used to create and animate her body.

FIRST PIRATED HD DOWNLOAD

The sci-fi action movie Serenity(USA, 2005) was the first full resolution rip of an HD DVD movie. The 19.6 GB file was made available on BitTorrent as an .evo file, confirming the suspicion that the copyrighted protection on HD DVDs has been bypassed.


HIGHEST GROSSING MOVIE FRANCHISE

The 21 Bond movies, from Dr No(UK, 1962) to Casino Royale(UK/USA, 2006), have grossed over $4.49 billion wordwide.


FIRST MOVIE BUDGET TO EXCEED $100 MILLION

True lies(USA, 1994), starring Arnold Schwarzenegger(Austria) and Jamie Lee Curtis(USA), was the first movie that cost over $100 million to make. It ended up grossing $365 million.

The Annie Awards have been presented by the International Animated Film Society since 1972. In Addition to the individual and specialist category awards presented from then, it has been honoring Best Animated Feature since1992, when it was won by Beauty and the Beast. The equivalent Academy Award(Oscar) for Best Animated Feature was first presented in 2001.

Ohh yeah, You either love this movie or hate this, but this film has the highest earnings(USA 1997) which took $1,834,165,466 at the international box office, it also became the first film to gross $1 billion.


HIGHEST GROSSING MOVIE(OPENING DAY)Spider sense tingling.... Yup its our friendly neighborhood Spiderman. Spider-Man 3(USA, 2007) starring Tobey Maguire as Spiderman/Peter Parker, took a record $59.8 million on its opening day in the USA on May 2007. Wow lets see if the 4th movie would break this record.


FASTEST TIME TO GROSS $1 BILLION
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (USA, NZ, 2003) grossed $1 billion in just 9 weeks 4 days! it went on win a record-equalling 11 American Academy Awards(Oscars). "PRECIOUS" ..


FIRST BLOCKBUSTER
Steven Spielberg's Jaw(USA, 1975) is considered the first summer blockbuster. People queued up around the block to see the movie, which also became the first to earn $100 million at the box office. Because of this movie my childhood was a wreck hehehe just joking, but it sure did made me think twice going to the beach.
