Model Editorial - Constance Jablonski

This month I had a bit of a splurge on fashion magazines, which for the past few month I haven't let myself do, due to the sheer ridiculously high cost of them. And one of my favs to splurge on is ID. I love their more serious editorials and genuinely interesting articles. Some times I find the more main stream fashion magazines tend to get a bit dull and repetitive. But ID has such a different layout to others. This month was no exception. I (as always) didn't love all the fashion editorials but I did totally fall in love with one in specific (I really liked another as well but will show you that another time). The Flowers, Leather and Lace editorial is beautiful. I love the model they chose to use - Constance Jablonski. I am kinda new to the more serious fashion world so don't really know many models. But after a quick search on Models.com I have found that she has been a huge model this year both on the runway and in magazines. She has a natural beauty that translates well in the photos.

This photo is by far my favourite of the whole collection. Her doe eyed look against the harsher leather of the jacket is soften by the by the embroidered flowers. But there is a subtle edged sexyness to her from that little bite on the collar. I adore it! I also love the jacket.

Im glad they decided to keep all the photos black and white as I think the grey scale makes the photos far more interesting.

The setting of the slightly creepy looking forest works well with the fashion for this shoot. She almost looks like a naughty, sexy woodland nymph.

Sorry about the crap quality of the next few photos but Models.com didn't have the full editorial so I had to take the pictures and they didn't come out that clear.

I really like how a simple piece of leather can make any outfit edgier. No matter how girly, or flowery your outfit is a bit of leather changes the look completely. And Im all for that, I love my leather jacket, and I know lots of you do too.

Lost my voice and more alphabet city!

Hello all I am sick, very sick! I had a bad cough last week and the doctor said it was just a little virus that would clear up with a bit of cough mixture. Yesterday I woke up with a sore and raspy throat, but I dealt with it and went to work as usual in the pub, which was difficult as my voice faded in and out of its own accord making talking to customers increasingly difficult. But today I woke up with no voice at all just a squeaky whisper, my throat is raw and painful, my lungs and throat are full of horrid gunk, so I think it is safe to say that the little virus has flourished into full fledged chest/throat infection. Luckily the doctor gave me a back up prescription of antibiotics incase this happened, so Im hoping my honey will venture out tomorrow morning and get them for me while I stay curled up in my cwtchy bed. Alas I cannot go to work, and on Black Friday too, I'm so sad about this *hear heavy sarcasm* I am missing the most chaotic/busiest day of the year. Anywhoo that has at least given me the time to catch on on everyones blog and get some more of my alphabet city post done. So here are a few more letters to make up for the great lack of posts over the last few days.

In our current weather situation (and generally all year round in the UK) we need a good old brolly, but who says we can't have a stylish one! Here are a few I like.

Plus I found this absolutely stunning one in work and luckily nobody came to claim it so now its all mine, hehe! It has a pretty flower pattern in the fabric and a lace edge, plus a cute tassle on the pole and a really sweet thin handle (sorry the pics aren't that great, hard to take a good shot).

Isn't he yummy! He is a professional Ballet dancer as well as being a model, what more could a woman want. I love a man who can dance, which is funny as my other half has 2 left feet! Anyway here is one more naughty photo for all you lovely ladies that are not sat drooling at the screen!

I'm really really sorry guys that I didn't get to post yesterday but I was truly knackered! I had work 5pm till 1am Friday night. Then 1pm till 2am Saturday and had to be up again for a 12-8pm shift today. So now that the hecticness of that is all over I am gonna do a double post to make up for it all. This week will be fine for blogging but next weekend is set to be just as busy so this may happen again. Plus on that note I will promise to try very hard to post an outfit post this week as you haven't had one in ages (saying that my clothing has been kinda boring recently due to lack of time and energy)

N is for Noemie Lenoir

I'm gonna take a lucky guess and say most of you will not know that name, although all you brits will know exactly who she is once you see her photo (although do tell me if I'm completely wrong! lol!) Yes, I am talking about the M&S model who spends most of her time prancing round in underwear, looking amazing! She has done campaigns for L'Oreal, Gap, Victoria Secret and Next as well as a number of Vogue editorials, but is most well known for the M&S ads alongside Twiggy and Erin O'Conner.
