INFESTATION

I was not even sure to rent this one, just looking at the cover made me think maybe this was an old movie, with a new cover in it hahahahaha, but what the heck, i love monster movie and all.

After watching the movie, well it was great, kinda like the "Eight Legged Freaks" movie i saw lot long ago, although that movie was way better than this one. "Infestation" is a science fiction horror movie, what I like about this movie is that unlike other monster movie wherein you can only see the monster at the end or only part of it, in "Infestation" you get to see the monster early!! and the special effects are also good in this movie.

The only downfall for me is the ending. Maybe they are planning a sequel for this one. But to sum things up, its a nice movie to rent and watch with your friends.

Ive heard that this movie is Taiwan's first ever slasher-horror film. Hmmm, Its a nice movie, although the movie is sort of a "Hostel" type of movie, if you like hostel then probably you'll like this one too. But still, its a nice slash/gore movie. Especially the sex scene involving Japanese AV star Maria Ozawa, wow shes smoking hot on that sex scene. If its a slasher/gore movie you want then its a nice movie to rent or buy a copy.

ORPHAN

Wow, I'm lost at words to describe this movie, i have watched this at about 11:30 in the evening, and usually while watching a movie during this time i will fall asleep, especially if the movie ain't that interesting. But not this one, this movie has kept me awake till almost about 2 in the morning since sometimes i would pause the movie to go to the CR hehehe. Back to the movie, the story was great, the acting, and the twist. I like the girl who acted as Esther(Isabelle Fuhrman) nice acting for a 12 year old child. Orphan is one great horror movie to watch. I recommend you buy a copy or rent it if you haven't seen it on big screen.

ITS ALIVE

Watching the trailer i thought the movie was great, but to my disappointment it was not. At first it was nice, but what I was waiting for was to see the baby killing those people, but all i see was blood and people getting slash to death and a few scene where the hand of the baby was seen. And at last near the ending of the movie i finally got my wish and saw the killer baby, then again it was just a mere second and the only thing I saw was its CGI head. The story was lame and the characters was lame, as lame as the Frank Davis(James Murray) brother Cris(Raphael Coleman) who i think was just put their to add the number of people living in the house. Also in this film is Bijou Phillips playing as the mother of the killer baby. Don't even think of renting this movie.

THE UNBORN

Want a good scare then,, this is not the movie for you,, sad but true..The is about a girl who had a twin that died in uterus because her umbilical cord had wrapped around his neck in the womb and strangled him, and she didn't become aware of it until years later when his evil spirit decided that he was ready to be born now. Most of the effects are not that bad but the horror technique are sooo hmmm overused, especially when the mutated babyface suddenly pops up then and makes a screeching noise, it would have been scary, if the movie GRUDGE did not appear on movies remember the gray colored screaming Japanese kid. There is also a scene of the old guy inverted head and walking on fours, another familiar scene similar to exorcist or again the GRUDGE. The only good thing i can say about this movie is the lead actress Odette Yustman, well shes smoking hot hahaha.
